How do you make animal cookies?

  1. Prepare the dough according to the included instructions, adding one egg and 40 g butter to the cookie mix.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface.
  3. Use the stamp cutters to cut out the animals and press patterns onto the cookies.
  4. Bake according to the instructions, then leave the cookies to cool.
  5. Decorate with white chocolate glaze and nonpareils.

Recommended age: 7+

The kit is recommended for children aged 7 and above. Rolling out the dough and pressing clear patterns with the stamp cutters takes a little precision and patience. Younger children can join in with an adult’s help, for example by cutting out cookies or decorating them after baking. An adult should handle the oven and hot baking tray.

The animal stamp cutters are reusable. Once you have used the included mix, you can make more cookies or gingerbread with your own dough, or order another cookie mix separately.

The cutters can also be used with marzipan or sugar paste. If you use cutters with modelling clay or play dough, keep those separate from cutters used for food.

Choose your packaging

The kit is available in two packaging options:

  • 21 × 16 × 4 cm gift box – ready to give as a present.
  • Without a gift box, in reused shipping packaging – a lower-priced option for baking at home.

For the option without a gift box, we use a previously used box, bag or other suitable shipping packaging whenever possible, giving existing packaging another use.

The kit contents are the same in both options. Only the outer packaging differs.
